Shoshana R. Simpson is managing attorney of Twersky PLLC. In addition to Ms. Simpson's general responsibilities with the firm, Ms. Simpson oversees administrative and managerial aspects of the firm.

Prior to joining Twersky PLLC, Ms. Simpson was a corporate transactional attorney in the New York office of the international law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Ms. Simpson's practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, commercial lending and general corporate counseling of public and private companies. Ms. Simpson also represented banks and other major financial institutions acting as a trustee, custodian, escrow agent and rights agent in connection with domestic and international transactions.

Before Ms. Simpson entered the private legal sector, Ms. Simpson was a law clerk for the Nassau County Attorney's Office, where she drafted memoranda of law, pleadings, and participated in trial preparation and observation relating to tax certiorari and condemnation matters. Ms. Simpson was also a law clerk to the Honorable Martin Ritholtz, Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, by providing assistance to the Judge relating to his caseload and by researching issues and drafting opinions before the court.

Ms. Simpson lives with her family on the South Shore of Long Island, New York.

Education:

Ms. Simpson obtained a law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was on the Dean's List, was elected Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Ms. Simpson graduated, summa cum laude, from Stern College of Yeshiva University with a bachelor's degree in biology, for which she received the Feldman Award for Excellence in Biology and the Scholarship for Academic Excellence by the New York State Education Department.
